Healthcare 201 – HIMSS Greater Kansas City: Silo Social Season Kickoff

When: Thursday, September 3, 2026, 4:30 – 8:00 pm
Where: Silo Modern Farmhouse, 17501 W 87th St Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66219
Cost: $10 HIMSS chapter members, $30 non-members

This September, in place of our usual Healthcare 201, we’re encouraging our community to join the HIMSS Greater Kansas City Chapter for their Silo Social Season Kickoff. The evening centers on rural health: the challenges, opportunities, and technology considerations shaping care in rural communities across the region.

A panel of regional leaders will set the foundation for a year of conversation about how technology, innovation, and collaboration can support the future of rural healthcare. Featured speakers include Shawn Weldin of Sabetha Community Hospital, Toniann Richard of HCC Network, and Nathan Gause, MD, of University Health.

Whether you work directly with rural organizations or simply want to better understand this important part of our regional healthcare community, we hope you’ll join us!
