Johnny Lam

Johnny Lam is a founder and entrepreneur at heart who has honed his superpower as a growth architect. In his day-to-day, Johnny serves as a Business Development Executive at DLA Piper, working alongside Josh Seidenfeld to lead and expand the firm’s Emerging Growth and Venture Capital practice. A scrappy operator and creative problem-solver, Johnny loves what he calls "systematizing serendipity"—bringing the right people together and connecting visionary founders with the mentorship, strategic partnerships, and capital they need to scale. He also champions community connection across the healthcare landscape as one of three Co-Chairs of Together.Health.

Across every chapter of his career, Johnny’s driving force has been a single metric: momentum. As a core founding team member at ScaleHealth, he helped nurture and scale the community from just three member companies to a thriving global ecosystem of over 4,000. His uniquely versatile background spans everything from operational roles at Fortune 100 giants—including Intel, Wells Fargo, and UPS—to launching startups, building new ventures, and even being a restauranteur.

Whether bootstrapping a bold new concept or accelerating revenue for long-term expansion, Johnny thrives in the trenches alongside the people he supports. He acts as a dedicated change agent and sounding board for friends, founders, colleagues, and all—helping teams identify bottlenecks and find the pragmatic answers needed to build monumental companies. A proud graduate of UC Riverside with a B.S. in Business Administration, Johnny’s favorite and most rewarding venture is at home as a father to three amazing kids (ages nine, six, and one).
